Portrait of Corneliu Zelea Codreanu

A Romanian Nationalist, the founder and leader of the Iron Guard or The Legion of the Archangel Michael (also known as the Legionary Movement), a nationalist, antisemitic and anti-communist organization. Concidered to be a local variety of fascism (Greenshirts) or national-socialism, however with religious roots, instead of ideological ones, grown from Orthodoxy (National-Christian Socialism).

I am still reading Codreanus autobiography "To my Legionaries" but I already know that he was a man of great spirit, a true nationalist at heart and a traditionalist to the bone, who definitely deserves respect.

He is one of the great examples of politicians that act only for the sake of their nation with no other intentions in mind, while others like to pretend to play the nation-card until they gain power.

While the constantly appearing word "jew" on almost every page thus far, annoyed me mildly, I was intrigued by the "Science of Antisemitism" concept, that rests on three key elements: Instinct, Consciousness and Science. I will surely go back to this concept after I finish reading the book and see in what way it can be beneficial to myself and Russia.

And I am sure I will read much more I can relate to in his autobiography, because while our nations are not related by blood, they are related by faith, and concepts of Nationalism, so deeply rooted in Orthodoxy should be intriguing.
